You can stop the confusing & tedious search for a place to stay in Sydney. We offer a simple flat rate for your stay. You won't need to calculate the true cost of your stay with all the extras that some other properties tack on like departure cleans, phone & internet use, parking etc. We also have a low bond, so you won't have to take out a 2nd mortgage just to stay! You will be dealing with a hands-on, friendly & helpful owner/manager. I regularly inspect my apartment & make sure everything is in order for you.
As new executive unit accommodation with all the comforts of home located at Wilga St, Burwood. The main bedroom features a queen size bed, single sofa bed, Ipod alarm clock,TV, DVD, ensuite & walk-in wardrobe and ensuite. The single futon sofa bed in this room can be set up for a child or small adult (this bed is low to the ground). The main bedroom includes a study desk with telephone (free national landline calls) and Optus internet connectivity (BYO Laptop). You will also find a hairdryer available for your use in the walk-in wardrobe. The 2nd bedroom also has a queen size bed, Ipod alarm clock, mirrored wardrobe and a beautiful leafy outlook. The main bathroom has a bath as well as a separate shower. In the living room there's 2 sofas (1 folds out to a double sofa bed), TV, DVD player & stereo. We also have available 2 single sofa beds to accommodate up to 9 sleeping. We are happy to take bookings for 1 person, or the maximum capacity of 9.
The lounge and dining areas are combined, with the dining area containing a setting for 8 people. Leading out from the lounge/dining area is a balcony with outdoor setting. The kitchen is modern and convenient with crockery, cutlery, pots & pans, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, microwave & fridge. There is also an extra table with 4 stools to provide another area for eating, work etc. The internal laundry has a washing machine and dryer, sink and a clothes airer. There is also a clothes line at the back of the buidling.
At basement level (1 flight of stairs down from the ground level) there is security tandem parking for 2 cars. We are across the road from a major shopping centre (Burwood Westfield) and cinemas. If you need to go into the city, just take a short walk (about 5 minutes) up Burwood Road, jump on the train and you'll be there in 20 minutes.
So close to everything but also quiet as the unit is at the back of the block on the 2nd floor (walk up). Beautiful Burwood Park is at the end of the street.

Burwood has a great cafe culture, with lots of people out and about each evening. Coles and Woolworths are just across the road in Westfield Shopping Centre and are open late each night for groceries.

Train (tickets can be purchased from any railway station)
Fares from Burwood to the City are as follows:
Adult peak return: $7.60 (child $3.80)
Adult off-peak return: $5.20 (child $2,80)
Day-tripper pass: Adult $17, child $8.60 (unlimited train, bus & ferry rides around Sydney for 1 day)
Adult 7 day pass: $30 (child $15)
Family Fare deal
The Family Fare deal has been created to make it extremely affordable for families to see Sydney by public transport.
When at least one fare paying adult travels with their children or grandchildren, the first child travels for a child fare and the other children travel free. This includes DayTripper and CityHopper tickets.
Family Funday Sunday
$2.50 per person for all day travel on CityRail, Sydney Buses, Sydney Ferries and participating private bus companies. Available every Sunday, when a minimum of one adult and one child related by family are travelling together.
A station access fee applies when using any of the Airport Line stations - Green Square, Mascot, Domestic Airport or International Airport.
Another option is the TravelPass ticket which give you 7 days' unlimited train, bus and ferry travel for only $46 (this is for the "green" zone which Burwood comes under).
To/From Sydney Showground or Olympic Park
Walk from the unit in Wilga St Burwood to Burwood Train Station (600 metre walk). Catch the train from Burwood to Lidcombe Station (9 min journey), then change trains to go to Olympic Park Station (5 min journey). Trains run every day of the week, every 20 minutes between Lidcombe and Olympic Park Station, 7am - 11pm.
Driving to Olympic Park (6.5km, 6 - 10 min drive)
From the unit, turn right along Wilga St, and turn right into Burwood Rd. Turn left onto Parramatta Rd. Veer right onto the motorway (M4), take the Centenary Drive exit. Turn right onto Homebush Bay Drive. Veer left into the Underwood Rd exit, and turn left immediately into Australia Ave.
To/From Airport
You can get the train to/from Burwood Station for about $20(offpeak return). To get to the train station at the airport, follow the directions from baggage collection carousel number 2.
Taxi will cost around $50-$55.
If you want to take the bus, route 400 goes from the airport terminals to Burwood Westfield, which is across the road from the apartment. Cost is around $4.50 per person.
